[AISLE-Share] Google Quizzes for 2019 Bluestem Books

I’m in a new district this year and am thinking about an alternative approach to getting students to show what Bluestem titles they’ve read. I recognize that this may not be something that works in other districts for a variety of reasons. What I’m thinking is allowing students, during their RC (Resource Center) time and/or during lunch, to create something that represents their reflection on the title. They could sew, create a video, use Book Creator, write (in response to a prompt if needed), build, or create a podcast/blog/seesaw post about the book (in response to a prompt if needed). I’m trying to move the “quiz/evaluation” to creative expression of what the story meant to them personally. I’m happy to share ideas and results as they happen. If anyone else has ideas, I’d love to hear them!

With the Wiki gone we have to create a google doc in our drive to have a forum to post questions. I will talk to the powers that be about adding that to the resources available and then members can add questions as they want.

I am the Publicity Co-Chair for the Bluestem Committee and know that this would be a great resource to add to the resources made available to those who participate in the Bluestem Award.
