Some of my favorites:
The Surrender Tree
Science Verse by Sciezka
Out of the Dust is a novel in verse, and one of my favorites!
Zorgamazoo is also FAB! It is a 300+ page novel in RHYMED verse. Kids
love it.

Here are a couple of lists for you:

https://www.weareteachers.com/best-poetry-books-for-kids/
https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/middle-grade-poetry ---This list on
Goodreads is very comprehensive. I have the majority for my 6-8 patrons.
This is the best place to start building your collection.
