[AISLE-Share] All-School Read activities?

Hi all,

I am getting ready to kick off our All-School Read right before winter
break. In the past, we've simply announced the books, ordered about 50-100
copies (for a school of 650) and then held a celebration later in the year
with activities and food related to the book. I would love to add some
more activities before the big party, but that's complicated since students
are reading it at different times. For example, I can't say on January
10th, after you've read chapter two, there will be a trivia question in the
library since only a few students might actually have access to the book.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to incorporate more activities
into our All-School read, knowing that students are not reading it at the
same exact time?

We are a middle school with grades 6-8.

Thanks,
Kori
