The Association of Illinois School Library Educators is seeking an
Executive Secretary. The Executive Secretary is responsible for various
duties including, but not limited to:

   -

   Attending all Executive Board and Conference Steering committee meetings
   -

   Managing the membership database
   -

   Managing the association listserv
   -

   Corresponding via email, mail, and phone with association members and
   others
   -

   Creating invoices for Reader’s Choice, Membership, and Conference
   -

   Representing the organization at numerous events including  the annual
   conference
   -

   Participating in various committees as needed
   -

   Maintaining a home office that serves as corporate address
   -

   Transporting AISLE materials to and from events as needed

The ideal candidate will have AISLE leadership experience, a commitment to
the duties and responsibilities of the position, and experience or
willingness to learn technology tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft
Excel, Quickbooks, and others relevant to the position.This position
requires a flexible schedule with varied hours and may require limited
travel and some overnight stays.

Candidate will work with current Executive Secretary for a probationary
period of one year before being eligible for a two year contract.
