[AISLE-Share] High School librarians

Hi!

I'm a high school Librarian and an English teacher has asked me to suggest
texts for seniors to study- especially from an author who is not white and
male and, preferably, not from Europe.

What do your English seniors study? We have both IB (International
Baccalaureate) and College Prep, so advanced students and your very average
students.

How is the text chosen? Have you ever been asked to contribute ideas?

I'm very glad she has asked and am eager to research. The teacher suggested
that it's very helpful to have a novel, play, etc., on which research has
been conducted, so it is easier to teach the work.
