When you insert an image into your timeline, WeVideo will default to
displaying it for 5 seconds.  Think of it as a freeze frame, not a video
clip.  Once the image is in your timeline, click it once to select it and
then you can click and drag on the edge of it to adjust how long it will be
displayed in your video.

I don't think there is a way to manually key in the duration.  You must use
the drag handles to adjust it.
