[ISLMA-Share] Readers' Choice information about voting and hosting the LiveAnnounce!

Please read through these two important Readers' Choice notes.

1. Voting will be open for the Monarch, Bluestem, and Lincoln awards from
February 15 to March 15.
You will need your registration number and password.  Be sure to tally all
votes prior to logging in as your information only works once.

2.

ISLMA is now accepting applications to host the Readers’ Choice live
announcement of the 2018 Readers’ Choice award winners.  The announcement
is scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00am.

Schools that are interesting in hosting this event will need to meet the
following criteria:

                Reliable internet connectivity

                Computer, camera, microphone that work well together

                Broadcasting software—schools will need to record in the
highest quality format available

                Students who will feel at ease in front of the cameras, and
parental permission for the students to be seen in a video that will be
posted to the ISLMA website

                Administrative permission and support

As soon as possible after the live presentation, the host school will need
to upload the original, unedited video with all of the awards, as well
videos that show each award group (Monarch, Bluestem, and Lincoln)
separately.  Once we have all of these, the videos will be posted on the
ISLMA website for additional viewing.

Be aware that the voting ends at midnight 3-15, so the final tally will not
be available until shortly before your presentation.  You may pre -record
the list of nominees, but you will not be able to pre-record the winners.

If your school meets these requirements, and you are interested in hosting
the Live Announce! please gather the following information:

Your name

Your school’s and school district’s names

Your location and the grade levels served by your school
