[ISLMA-Share] Kindergarten Library Books

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Our kindergartener’s take 1 book out a week and take it home. We no longer use book bags fro them.  We spend a lot of time talking about taking care of books!

I see kindergarten students each week.
 They are able to check out 1 book at a time.
I give each student a plastic bag with handles (and their name) to take their book to and from home.
They also get a sticker to put on the good job chart when they return their book.
