[ISLMA-Share] Philosophy of HS library?

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Hi,

I am new to this high school library this year. I am having trouble
defining it. I'd like to ask high school librarians for their vision and
reality for their libraries. I have no support staff and an "open" period
each day, where it is decidedly NOT academic enough to my liking.

Any input is helpful.
