[ISLMA-Share] Creative ideas for a Caudill party?

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

My group today loved watching trailers for the 2019 nominees. I let them
look at the list and choose which ones they want to see first: Here are the

I also shared with them the nomination criteria and they had fun thinking
of books to nominate for 2020 and checking with each other and the OPAC to
make sure books met the criteria.
We also always have a quick discussion about books we loved before we
vote--in case someone is undecided and wants to hear what others think.

All this plus pizza and ice cream takes about an hour.
