I've had students younger than that read and they've been fine. If the student isn't comfortable with the content they'll put the book back.

Subject: [ISLMA-Share] Ready Player One

Happy Friday!

With the movie “Ready Player One” coming out, I’ve had some of my 7th and 8th grade students asking for the book. It’s listed as “adult” in reviews. I have not yet read it. If you have read it, do you think it is an appropriate book for 7th and 8th grade students?

Many thanks,
