[ISLMA-Share] low level that don't look it

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I am at a junior high (6-8) and we need some books at a level as low as 3rd
grade for some small, classroom bookclubs, but kids are embarrassed to read
books that look that low. I was thinking Jake Maddox books would be good. I
also thought Dolphin Adventure, Hachiko Waits, and Night of the Twisters,
but although they are short, their levels are around 5th grade. Does anyone
have any suggestions?
