We use multiple ABC-CLIO databases, but the favorite with freshmen World
Cultures teachers in the World Geography database. It includes general
information, as well as facts and figures, cultural insights and issues.
If you offer World History the 2 databases, World History Ancient and
Medieval and World History Modern, are great. Some teachers use the
databases as much as the textbooks. The databases are definitely for HS
students, but not too hard for freshmen.
