In my K-4 school:

· How many books can be checked out at a time? 2. Some teachers in
K-2 limit it to 1 at the first of the year to get students used to
returning items regularly. If a teacher requests that his or her class be
allowed one or two more for a project, we accommodate that request.
Teachers and other staff: unlimited

· What is the maximum number of books that can be checked out
simultaneously? See above

· How long is the checkout period (e.g. 1 week, 2 weeks, undefined)? 2
weeks

· How many times can a student renew a book? Unlimited, unless there
is a waiting list.

· Do you allow a Hold to be put on a book? Yes. I maintain the
waiting list in the library management software.
