[ISLMA-Share] QR Codes and Book Trailers

This blog post shows how we've used QR Codes to share students' written
book reviews, spoken book talks, and video book trailers.
http://99learns.blogspot.com/2016/02/book-talks-on-demand.html

QR Codes are clunky, and most students don't know already how to scan them.
We made these videos to show students how to scan the QR Codes:

   - How to download a QR Reader: https://youtu.be/J9LDRA3zW2A
   - How to scan the QR Codes: https://youtu.be/DWknXR7k0Vo

Despite all this work, I'm not convinced QR Codes are the best mode for
sharing this information. I'm not ready to give up yet. I tell students
that the shelf tags that contain the QR Codes mean that book has been
recommended by a peer, and they seem to find that helpful. I find the shelf
tags helpful too while I'm helping students find books.

If anyone has ideas for ways of sharing student work for students actively
browsing the shelves, I'd love to learn more!

Thanks,
Kate
