[AISLE-Share] K-12 certification

[Email list for the Association of Illinois School Library Educators]

The LIS endorsement used to be in grade-level bands... but now the only
certification you can get is PreK through 12th grade, so you can reapply to
have your certificate reflect that. I was previously 6-12, and was worried
I'd need more classes for the elementary certification, but it went
through! Now I'm certified to be a librarian for all grade levels, woo-hoo!
I just applied for it like a new endorsement on the ISBE website... but
like the original poster said, it took A WHILE for them to get to my
application, so be patient.
