Our school is looking for titles to recommend for next years One Book, One School. Our goal is to work off of growth mindset. Specifically the power of yet. We are compiling an excellent list of picture books, but we would like a strong chapter book that would anchor everything. It should be a book appropriate to read to kindergartners as well as have fifth graders engaged.
So far the only titles coming to mind are Soar (probably will exclude this due to the baseball player who dies) and Fish in A Tree.
I would love to know your thoughts and suggestions.
