[ISLMA-Share] Making new book covers

We did a project last year where students designed a cover for their "own"
book, but the idea and software could readily be adapted to use for
creating covers for books in a library collection as well.

Software: www.canva.com (Search for book cover template after you've
logged in and choose FREE designs - adapt / change as needed.)
Students used their own photography (we used our iPads as cameras) and
uploaded our photos as part of our design.
It was easy, fun, free -- and middle school students loved it.

Here's a sample of my book cover (attached) -- you can save / print as jpg,
pdf or png formats.

Best,
Sharon (aka Mrs. B.)
