[ISLMA-Share] Library Renovation: Open Entryway?

I used to work in an open library in an elementary, and the noise was
terrible. A lot of the noise was from hallway traffic, but there was also
noise from classrooms. The teachers in the classrooms didn't like the open
plan either because they had to deal with the noise from library lessons
and from the students as they hunted for materials. For a middle school,
it wouldn't be as bad, but there would be noise during the staggered
lunches. As someone else pointed out, equipment can't be locked up either,
so if you purchase technology for the library, you would not be able to
leave it out, and sometimes storing it wouldn't be easy (think 3D printer).
