[ISLMA-Share] book suggestions for summer theater camp with kids in grades 1-3

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I have an aide at my school who is doing a summer theater camp for kids
grades 1-3. She has done this with middle school and high school kids
before, but never with kids this young. She is looking for book suggestions
that she could develop into a play for 8-12 children.

I thought of one of the many Anansi stories...

Any suggestions you could add would be great.
