If the student introduces the quote as that of MLK, an in-text citation may look like (qtd. In Aronson). This is what NoodleTools identifies for MLA citations.

Subject: [ISLMA-Share] Citation question
Importance: High

Good morning, collective brain.
I have a student citing a quote from a primary source that is photographed and inserted into a book by Marc Aronson. The quote is Dr. Martin Luther King from a memo to Hoover. The memo is a photo in the prologue of the book. She initially put the parenthetical as Aronson and the page number. But since it is actually a quote by King, she came to me second guessing herself. We dug around on OWL Purdue but can't find a good answer to clarify if she needs to do more for this parenthetical. Any suggestions? Should she leave it alone?

Thanks in advance.
