[ISLMA-Share] Book Suggestions

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

My 8th grade teachers assign to higher-level groups: *The Book Thief*, *Between
Shades of Gray, Salt to the Sea, Challenger Deep, Wintergirls, *and *Life
as We Knew It. *Some of the Lexile levels are not quite as high as the
others, but the subject matter leads to rich discussion among thoughtful
students.
