[ISLMA-Share] end of the year collection of books and fines

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

We require students to pay all fees before they can buy a prom ticket.
It's very effective.  Seniors cannot get their tickets to graduation until
they pay all of their fees.  As far as underclassmen, I work hard to get
all the books back. I email English teachers, and they try to help.  Some
students I hunt down personally, if possible. (I usually only have a
handful of books out at the end of the year.) Fees I don't worry so much
about, because we'll get them when they are seniors!
