[AISLE-Share] book title?

[Email list for the Association of Illinois School Library Educators]

The book  The Parker Inheritance  will renew interest in the Westing Game, since it plays a big role in the book!

If you haven't read the The Parker Inheritance by Varian Johnson I highly recommend it for your 4th through 6th graders !!

"Through various circumstances, several people/families find themselves all living in a certain apartment building. Gradually we find out they are all connected to someone who died and has left an inheritance. I think they are charged with finding out who he is or how they are connected to him. One girl figures it out, and the guy who died actually had multiple identities. Some were related to North, South, East, West, and she figures that out, and finds the identity related to the last direction and locates the guy (who hadn’t actually died.) I think the title was related to the apartment building or street it was on, maybe?? "
