Getting the opportunity to "re-invent" your library is exciting! However,
In all fairness to you and your library, you should not have to take
technology needs out of your library materials budget. There should be
either a separate budget or additional money earmarked for tech needs added
to what you already receive for books. In my district the technology
department at district office provides/pays for anything having to do with
the devices, printing, apps, databases, charging stations, etc. I do not
even need a technology/digital budget.

So... Is there someone with whom you can have a conversation soon?
District technology admin, perhaps? Make sure both you and your district
admin understand what resources, supplies, and support for which you are
each responsible. AND... if it requires you making purchases of anything,
make sure you are provided with a budget sufficient enough to support their
vision for your library.
