[AISLE-Share] Picture book about helping others in class with transition

[Email list for the Association of Illinois School Library Educators]

This is for a second grade classroom. The teacher will read it to the class
before the student comes on Monday. He's in our school, (and had been for
two years) he's just switching classrooms. We have PT conferences on Thurs
and Fri so I was trying to get something by tomorrow. The request came
rather late, at 10 am Monday morning. She doesn't want to point out that
the child has "difficulties," just that we all need to get along and
support each other. I don't believe there is bullying involved, but I don't
know that for sure, due to privacy considerations.
