[AISLE-Share] Scanner Issues

Good evening everyone!

I decided this year to install a self-checkout station in my middle school. After reading some posts on AISLE-Share I purchased a scanner off of Amazon. However, I learned quickly that not all of my barcodes are being recognized properly. I contacted the company and we tried a few things, including checking the numerology of my barcodes. This issue is that the scanner is adding additional numbers to some of my older barcodes and not to others. My current scanner has no issues, just this new one. The manual is gone. Has anyone else had these issues? Suggestions for scanners you have used without issues? Here is the one I prurchsed:
