University of Illinois has a stellar program (#1 in the nation!) and their
on-line offerings are just like being in the room (I have first-hand
knowledge...my degree is from U of I and I took both classes on campus and
online).  I've always been very impressed with how the instructors are
willing to work with me to personalize my assignments so that they'd be of
practical use in my particular situation.  Your friend should check the
University of Illinois iSchool website and contact Ann Ohms at the iSchool
for further details.  She won't regret it!
