We don't use smore now, but we may for future newsletters. These look great. Here is our last newsletter to show what we include.

I love Smore for newsletters! Very easy to use, and I think they look really nice, with a variety of seasonal backgrounds and colors. They're easy to send out, too, with the link - just e-mail it to whomever you'd like to read it!
Normally in a newsletter I include a few book recommendations, information about classes I've been teaching, things in the IMC we can offer to teachers and students, some talk about what the kids have been doing in the library (both for fun, like our monthly Lunch and Learn, as well as different uses classes have had for the space), and updates on any special programs/celebrations/clubs coming up, such as book club meetings, Teen Read Week, etc.
Pictures are the BEST. I'm bad about remembering to grab pictures when things are happening, but pics of the kids using the space are awesome because they make for great design, and it also helps show how fabulous your library is! :)
Our recent fall newsletter was a little sparse, but I was more concerned about getting info out about Teen Read Week festivities. :) I usually send out a newsletter once a "season," so like Sept/Oct for beginning of the year, right before Winter Break, and then right before Spring Break.

Hi there,

Does anyone have a Smore newsletter you can share? Would love to see your creative and even simple layouts. As well as, what kinds of things you include in your newsletters.

Thanks!
