The wait is over!  The Association of Illinois School Library Educators
(AISLE) is officially announcing the publishing of the 4th Edition of *Linking
for Learning: Illinois School Library Standards. *

This publication endorsed by Jesse White, State Librarian and ISBE,
provides a significant change to the standards in the rapidly evolving
world of school librarianship.

You have 2 options for ordering your copies of *Linking for Learning:*

   - Go to the website at: www.aisled.org/linking-form.htm  and place an
   online order. The cost is $36/book which covers shipping costs.
   - Join us at the AISLE conference in Tinley Park Nov 1-3,  and pick up
   copies while saving the shipping costs-- only $30/book.

New to this edition are standards and assessments for administrators as
well as school librarians. Because of this, you will want to purchase
copies for your administrators. This is one of the best ways to advocate
for your school library!

We are so excited to share this new set of state standards with you all.
