We renovated our library/media center 12 years ago. Half of our shelving is
movable the other half is not. I would prefer any shelving that does not
sit on a wall be movable. This is helpful when we host our book fairs and
when PTO uses our space. They wheels on the book cases make it so easy to
reconfigure the space.

Our media center also has flexible seating. There are 4 'gaming-rocking'
chairs which the students love, but I have to remind them they can rock but
they are not on a ride at a carnival. We also have the hockee stools for
the primary area. These are challenging since the students end up on the
floor quite often due to their ability to sway and rock. The students enjoy
the ability to move away from out instructional tables and chairs.
