[aisle] Can't access resources

The resources are coming.  Our committee is creating them, and then they will go through a brief review before they are accessible.  We are working on them!!!

Dear Becky,

I am a member of AISLE. I also registered for Monarch and Bluestem in April 2019. That should allow me access for the 2020-21 resources. After signing in, other than the master list, I discovered that the latest resources are 2019 books. Are there 2020 resources coming or should I just make up my own? Please let me know so I can stop looking.

This is a good question and I want to answer so everyone will be aware of the important date of March 15th. This year on March 15, 2019, we started a new year for the Readers' Choice programs. All passwords from the previous year no longer worked. Keep in mind that this will continue again next year.  So all 2020 resources will be available until March 15, 2020. Then passwords will be thrown out for the previous year and we will start again with registrations and new passwords. We just couldn't have 2 sets of passwords at the same time so we selected March 15th as the cutoff.

As soon as you register for the new year you will have access to all of the resources previously available from multiple years.

Yes, this is new and we have posted this on the listserv multiple times.  I am sorry if it is confusing.  My best advice: Mark your calendars that March 15th is the end of your access each year until you register again!

Please remember that our volunteer committee members create the resources for the Monarch, Bluestem, and Lincoln nominees each year.  ALL items that will be posted to the AISLE website must also be approved before posting (that's just good business sense).  I'm sorry that many of you are frustrated by the fact that the resources are not available yet.  Please allow these groups time to create the materials, and then some time for approval and posting. We will have them up as soon as possible.
In the meantime, I have seen several posting for book trailers and nominees slideshows  from  other AISLE members.
