Dear Alan,
I am unaware of such a resource.

However, yesterday, I published a professional book review on my blog: The Stories We Share: A Guide to PreK-12 Books on the Experience of Immigrant Children and Teens in the United States by Ladislava N. Khailova (2019).

The book is organized by geographic regions and only includes “award-winning titles.” The author offers a free online database of the books reviewed so you can see what she has included for collection development of Latinx heritage books.

Although not “bibliographies,” I recommend the reviews on Latinxs In Kids Lit: https://latinosinkidlit.com/

Or titles reviewed on the Worlds of Words website; search the word “latino”: https://wowlit.org/

Best,
Judi

Just seeing if anyone has a suggestion… I had zero replies.

I am looking for something like The best of Latino heritage, 1996-2002 : a guide to the best juvenile books about Latino people and cultures by Isabel Schon. Anyone find a professional resource that is more updated for Latino readers? I am looking for print.

Sincerely,

Alan, Librarian serving Brooks Middle School
