[aisle] First chapter activities

Our reading teachers like to read the first chapters of novels to their
classes on Fridays.   They are looking for some fresh activities for the
students to do while they are listening and after the chapter is finished.
Up to this point, students have mostly written in their journals.

What has worked well in similar activities at your school?  Thank you!
