[aisle] library clerk/assistant questions

I'm seeking input from the brain trust.  If your district employs non-certified clerks/assistants in the libraries, how are they classified? (paraprofessionals or something else?)  Are they paid hourly or are they salaried?  If you are comfortable, can you tell me the pay rate for your clerks/assistants?
