[aisle] A Sand County Almanac

I have a science teacher who has approached me about the idea of teaching a Sand County Almanac to a freshman/sophomore biology class.  
I am reading it now and even struggling through the first few pages.  I am concerned it will be hard to hold their attention with this book.  It’s pretty long, so they would be working on it for a while.  Any thoughts?  Has anyone collaborated with a teacher on this book before?
