[aisle] read aloud(s) for family reading night

When I’ve been the mystery reader for my  niece and my daughters’ classes I’ve read one of my favorite picture books: Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude by Kevin O’Malley.  I’ve done it two ways:  with my wife reading the girl part or with a girl puppet.   I required another person to help turn the pages when I used the puppet.   You can get as dramatic as you want with it.  It does take a little practice to argue with a puppet especially when you are using two different voices, but it will be worth it when the kids find it hysterical.

The Book with No Pictures was also a fun one to read.  Again, you can make it dramatic, “Please don’t make me say…”
