Beyond the above good suggestions, we also place in our Christmas/holiday
display:

*Home for the Holidays* (bk 5, Mother-Daughter Book Club series) by Heather
Frederick
*A Crime for Christmas* (bk 2, Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys super mystery) by
Carolyn Keene
*Dancing Through the Snow* by Jean Little
*The Best Christmas Pageant Ever* by Barbara Robinson
Some of these are pretty low-level books, but our school serves grades
6-12. Plus, older kids enjoy a fun, easy holiday read sometimes!
