It's a great book. I understand your administration (or some parents) may be uncomfortable with it, but it is a portrayal of things out kids need to understand. It shows all sides extremely well.

Subject: [aisle] Catholic High Schools I am a school library media specialist. My principal has asked for a list of any Catholic high school that have the book entitledThe Hate You Give in their collections. Also, do any of your schools teach this book as a part of the classroom curriculum, not just an extra credit reading choice? We would appreciate any input from you, and you may respond off the list if you prefer to email directly.
