[aisle] Modern titles for a freshman English class

Good afternoon,
I am compiling a list of books for our freshmen English classes. Here are
my parameters. Any suggestions???

   - titles will be required reading, so they should appeal to a more
   general audience
   - titles should be published in the last 5 years
   - books should contain diverse characters

Thanks in advance for any ideas!
