[aisle] Library Visits K-5

I have 4th and 5th graders for 40 min.  I read for the first 5-10 min. and
we talk about the book and I try to ask questions that relate to skills
that they are doing in the classroom. Many times my books relate to social
studies or science unit that they are doing and don't relate to the lesson
that I teach afterwards. Other times, the book relates to the lesson I will
do.
During Bluestem, I read the nonfiction picture books and do lessons on
primary sources that go with them.

I use Common Sense Media and do 5 lessons for each grade.
I also do coding during Hour of Code and use OSMO
April I do centers related to poetry
all of May is Battle of the Books
