[aisle] Chapter books for first grade

Scholastic has a series of series called Branches that seems to work well for my first grade son. His favorite is the Press Start: Super Rabbit Boy books.

He also really likes the Zooey and Sasasfrass series, which has the added bonus of teaching scientific concepts through fiction.

My first grade teachers have exhausted Junie B. Jones and Magic Tree House and are wanting a new chapter book series to read. Do you have any suggestions for a great series that I should purchase for them?
