[aisle] Foreign language fiction

Hi Shelley! Our school libraries were charged with this last year, and
unfortunately for older students there just isn't that much. I was able to
find Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and Harry Potter in Arabic books through
Follett, but the other selections were pretty limited. We worked with a
Follett Representative who curated a list of books for us (middle school).
If you find any vendors that publish major titles in other languages, or a
work around, please let me know!

Because the book selections were so limited, we ended up ordering a lot of
Hi/Lo titles from Saddleback, Orca, and Red Rhino publishers.

Elementary schools have a little of an easier times because companies like
Scholastic and AV2 have digital options (if you have devices) where the
languages can be switched from English to Spanish, Arabic, Polish, etc.

Just an added note, one of our students who is an English Learner said that
he prefers the books in English because he's trying to learn the English
language. He won't check out the books written in Arabic.

Good luck in your search!
