HI!
Wondering if Middle School and YA will be addressed during these meetings? This sounds great. Thanks for sharing! Jennifer

Hi Emily,

This sounds really interesting but before committing, will the meetings normally be during school hours?

Hi, Everyone,

I’m working with some other librarians starting a Diversity and Social Justice in Youth Services Networking Group. Everyone is invited to the first meeting! Info and how to register are listed below.

Are you interested in meeting with like-minded Youth Services library staff to discuss diversity of all kinds? Whether it be hiring diverse presenters, planning inclusive programming, selecting diverse materials for collection development and more...we want to discuss it! Come to the inaugural meeting of Diversity and Social Justice in Youth Services Networking Group! Our group’s name is a mouthful, so the first order of business will be selecting a new name. Come with ideas for names with cool acronyms! We look forward to seeing you at the Lincolnwood Public Library on Tuesday, December 17th at 2pm!
