The Stevenson librarians did an excellent presentation at AISLE that
included the results of a lesson they do on lateral versus vertical
reading. I’ve modeled a lesson on media bias after theirs since AISLE with
excellent results. If they’re on the listserv, maybe they can share more.

There is a fascinating study on lateral reading out of Stanford that they
used to create the lesson- I’d highly recommend it.
