[aisle] Catalog Record Best Practices

There should only be one bibliographic record with all holdings attached to
that record. A new (second) record is only needed if it is a new edition
such as a 25th anniversary edition, or has new content, ie. a foreward,
etc. New printings and different bindings are not new editions and their
ISBNS can be added to the existing record. There should ideally be
only one record per title. That is why we always search for an existing
record before adding a new record to any system...to avoid adding a
duplicate record. (I have 12 years cataloging experience.).

"The simplest way to make sure that we raise literate children is to teach
them to read, and to show them that reading is a pleasurable activity. And
that means, at its simplest, finding books that they enjoy, giving them
access to those books, and letting them read them." -- Gaiman, Neil. "Neil
