[aisle] CPS Librarians

Forgive me if this is an inappropriate question, but I’m honestly curious.

Has AISLE made any statement on the CPS teacher strike, considering part of what they’re striking for is more librarians? I’ve been reading statistics and it’s heartbreaking to hear that “nine of 10 majority-black schools [in Chicago] have no teacher librarians” (https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/chicago-teachers-strike-10-19/index.html).  Does AISLE make any official acknowledgement of that? Or is it too political an issue?
