I have a picture book section in my middle school library. My ELA teachers like to use the picture books to teach literary devices. Our self-contained class appreciates it too. 😊

Subject: [aisle] Nonfiction Picture Book section in middle school

Hi all,

I am in a middle school 6-8, but also service self-contained with reading levels ranging from k-5.

I have a large nonfiction section. Mixed in are all the picture books that are nonfiction.

I am considering pulling them to create a nonfiction picture book section.

Does anyone else do something like this in middle school? Thoughts....
