[aisle] American Studies at the Middle School level

Hi all,

I am reaching out to the group in hopes of finding some information on any
American Studies themes used in middle or high schools.  I am part of an
innovation project that would like to bring the American Studies (merging
SS and ELA) experience to our middle school.
