We are 1:1 Chromebooks and issue loaners for a few reasons:
1. If their device needs to be repaired
2. If they need to take a test for a teacher that needs to be on a
Chromebook. We use Schoology and Google Apps for Education and there are
settings to force the students to take it on a Chromebook.
If the student needs to do work for a class during the day, they can come
to the LRC to complete the work. If a student forgets their Chromebook and
it isn't for reason #2 above, they do not receive one.
We have a charging station in the LRC that students use all the time.
Students will come in throughout the day to charge them if they don't have
a friend with a charger. If you have any questions, please let me know!
